The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari. While reacting to President Buhari’s claim that he thought he was 74 years old until he was told he was 75, the main opposition party had advised him to turn in his resignation. The PDP also described the statement as a national disgrace, while calling on INEC to revisit Buhari’s files. Responding to the PDP’s statement, the National Chairman of the APC, chief John Odigie-Oyegun said the PDP lacked the morality to demand Buhari’s resignation. He also said the PDP was calling for Buhari’s resignation because they don’t have rectitude and morality to see anything tangible in his statement.
